Hiking Guide - Guida Escursionistica 2

“A summit reached is the boundary between the finite and the infinite.“

Erri De Luca

Hi, I’m Davide! A former engineer and a lifelong mountain lover, I decided to turn my passion into my profession. In June 2024, I left my old job and became a certified AIGAE Hiking Guide! Through my excursions, I hope to share the love I feel for the mountains and move you with their spectacular landscapes.

Guida escursionistica - hiking guide 7

I organize group trekking and snowshoeing excursions in Piedmont and the Aosta Valley with SC Trek. The ingredients I bring to my excursions are a love for the mountains, a smile, and a light-hearted approach to being in touch with nature. You can also contact me if you wish to organize a private hike just for you. Languages spoken: English, French, Spanish, and German.

ADVENTURES

Fishermen’s Trail

I walked the Fishermen’s Trail in Portugal, and it was a magnificent experience. The sheer cliffs overlooking the ocean, footsteps on golden sand, the sound of the waves, and the whisper of the wind are just some of the wonderful gifts this trail offers. I covered a total of 140 km over 6 stages, starting from the small village of Almograve and finishing at the iconic Cape St. Vincent lighthouse. If you’d like to learn more, visit the trail’s page, where you’ll find my travel diary and a photo gallery that aims to capture the emotions I experienced.
